School excellence for relocation & transition care

Shortlist:

  • ICS London
  • International School of London (ISL)
  • Le Sallay International Academy
  • Léman Manhattan Preparatory School

Find the right school for their child is even more important for relocating families as mobility and business travel picks up for international organisations following the pandemic. As employers and employee embrace the new normal, the experience of lockdown and the importance of online education, flexibility, safety and wellbeing are at the forefront of decision making for parents.

This award recognises quality education for mobile families and reflects how, a successful, timely and stress-free relocation supports talent retention, promotes employer brand and delivers employee engagement for best practice organisations.

The school should demonstrate how it provides outstanding education and support to relocating pupils and their families throughout their time at the school, as well as to international students electing to study outside of their native country.

Examples of flexibility around admissions, an understanding of the employer’s, employee’s and family’s perspective and the importance of transition care are welcome.

Schools entering this category should be able to demonstrate an ethos of global mindedness and understanding of the future of work and career opportunities for young people, as well as offer support in areas such language/native language tuition, cross-culture and access to relocation resources for families.

Entrants must have:

  • Highlighted how your entry is inspirational and why you should win this award
  • Demonstrated a child and people centred approach and the importance of wellbeing
  • Explained how an exceptional education and personalised mobility experience is provided and to whom it applies
  • Demonstrated a responsive, resource-efficient and cost-effective service, showing how value is added to the mobility experience
  • Showed how you manage your own people so that they demonstrate commitment, engagement and passion in education and service delivery

The judges looked for proof of consistently high standards and excellent service – for example, parent/employer testimonials, feedback forms and/or survey results. Evidence of innovations to support a high quality and transferable global education.

Subject to sufficient breadth of entries, we will subdivide this category to reward different types and size of school.
